Extension of the period of bid submission
The Ministry of Water Resources, Irrigation and Electricity (MWRIE) and the Wind Energy Project (GEF and UNDP financed project) have been extended the period of bid submission of hire the services of consultancy firm with vast experience in renewable energy policy and regulations.
From Thursday 30th of August 2018 to Thursday 13th of September 2018 at 12:30 pm, date bid opening.
With same bid conditions and specifications.

Announcement for Bidding
The Ministry of Water Resources, Irrigation and Electricity (MWRIE) and the Wind Energy Project (GEF and UNDP financed project) intended to hire the services of consultancy firm with vast experience in renewable energy policy and regulations to develop the following studies:
1. Formulation of Sudan long-term renewable energy policy and regulations.
2. Development of secondary legislation relevant to wind energy for catalysing private sector investment.
3. Establishment of “one-stop shop” (OSS) in MWRIE for wind energy investors and developers.
The detailed Term of Reference of the three studies can be downloaded from the following websites:

Interested bidder shall apply for the three studies as one package.
Interested eligible companies who wish to submit their bids should meet the following conditions and requirements:
1. The Registration Certificate of Business.
2. Company Profile.
3. In addition to that, Sudanese companies should have to submit Valid Certificate of Zakat clearance, legal stamp, Valid Certificate of Tax Clearance and VAT registration Certificate as well.
MWRIE is not constrained to accept the lowest or any other tender. Receipt of tenders in two copies (original and copy) stamped and signed plus electronic copy, and placed in sealed envelopes to be put in the tender box at the office of the “Wind Energy Project” manager at the building of the General Directorate of Renewable and Alternative Energy- MWRIE, Khartoum- Burri, east of Kober bridge and civil defense authority.
