A contract for the preparation of Sudan wind Atlas was signed by Mr. Mosa Omar Abul-Qasim, Deputy Minister of the Ministry of Water Resources, Irrigation, and Electricity, in the presence of the Director of the General Department of Renewable and Alternative Energy and the Director of the Wind Energy Project on 17 July 2018.

It was also signed by the Danish company EMD International A/S, which was awarded the tender to implement the Atlas on 8 August 2018 and is expected to complete the preparation of the Sudan new wind Atlas by October 2018.
