The workshop presents the final draft report of the project’s outcome 2 studies which includes:

• Formulation of Sudan’s long-term renewable energy policy and regulations.
• Development of secondary legislation relevant to wind energy for catalyzing private sector investment.
• Establishment of “one-stop-shop” (OSS) for Renewable energy investors and developers.

The report was prepared by the project’s consultancy firm which is joint venture consultancy consortium between the Regional Center for Renewable Energy and Energy Efficiency (RCREEE) and NEWTECH consulting group.

The participants are from different entities related to the renewable energy field such as WEP stakeholders, MWRIE, Ministry of Investment, Ministry of finance, Central bank of Sudan, and the private sector representatives.
