The implementation of the Dongola Pilot Wind Farm has been awarded to Emergya Wind Technologies BV, a pioneer in the distributed wind energy field with over 600 installed turbines throughout various countries.

The contract authorizes the supply and installation of one 900 kilowatt turbine. Development of the turbine shall begin on March 16 and construction is expected to be finished by January 2021, the rest of the civil and electrical works will be carried out by local businesses.
